David Mishkin is a fountain of knowledge and experience when it comes to black and white custom printing. He brings 40 plus years experience to any conversation you are fortunate enough to have with him about the subject. He travels all over the country lecturing on Photographic Preservation and Photographic Process Identification and Document Preservation, Restoration and Enhancements and Modern Imaging Methods. He is the go-to guy for the Maine Historic Preservation Commission when it needs work done.
When he’s not talking, David Mishkin is making archival photographic copies and photographic restorations. Did I mention his custom black and white photo lab? And to think this guy lives and works in southern Maine. We are lucky.
