Alex Novak, photography dealer based in PA has a truly excellent resource available at no cost – it’s a (sometimes) monthly newsletter detailing the results of all the important photo auctions, as well as photography book reviews and what’s happening in the photography dealer world.

A complete set of Camera Work sold at auction at Sotheby’s last fall for $229,00 and its estimate was  $100,000-$150,000.

In my category MAINE RESOURCES I LOVE, I talk about a facility open to the public where you can make an appointment to view an almost complete set of this amazing publication of Alfred Stieglitz – a true treasure to have available.
